Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year college or university, and minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fundamentals of chemical reagent preparation for chemical or microbiological testing.
• Working knowledge of basic analytical instrumentation in the R&D lab (pH meters, balances, glassware, autoclaves).
• Familiarity with HPLC instrumentation, software, troubleshooting and data handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of reagent solutions for physical, chemical and microbiological testing.
• Performs chemical, physical and microbiological testing on materials for stability and development activities.
• Verifies accuracy and completeness of testing and paperwork for finished products.
• Maintains GMP compliance under supervision.
• Records information necessary for GMP or related investigations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
