Overview
A manufacturing laboratory is seeking a full-time QC/R&D Chemist to perform testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role supports both quality control and research & development, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements while contributing to product development initiatives.
Location: Anaheim, CA • 1st shift • Contract to hire
Pay: $26.00–$28.00/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform quality tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods.
- Conduct stability testing and monitor production batches.
- Prepare and send samples to third-party labs.
- Maintain inventory of materials, components, and supplies.
- Record and analyze test data, prepare reports, and create documentation (spec sheets, COAs, OTC/QC regulatory documents).
- Assist with lab-scale batch preparation for product development.
- Inspect equipment, documentation, and products before and after filling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- 1–2+ years of experience in QC, R&D, or analytical laboratory work.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques and instrumentation.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
