Job summary

Polynt Composites USA is seeking a Chemist to advance development, commercialization, and industrialization of new products while supporting existing technologies. With supervision, you’ll perform lab work, prepare formulations, test products, and provide technical assistance to plant sites and customers.

Strong safety practices, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success. The role is primarily laboratory-based with occasional project coordination and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS in Chemistry or related science.
• 3-5 years’ experience with composites and formulation preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of experimental design and statistical data analysis techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab work related to product/process development and support existing technologies.
• Prepare chemical formulations and prototypes via synthesis or blending.
• Test formulations, prototypes and parts via analyses and mechanical testing.
• Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and calibration; report malfunctions.
• Write technical reports and present results; plan experiments and meet deadlines.
