Job summary

Polynt Composites USA is seeking a Chemist – composites formulation to advance product development and support existing technologies. The role is primarily laboratory-based with some plant support and cross-functional collaboration.

You will prepare formulations, run analyses, and contribute to product development while maintaining safety and quality standards. A BS in chemistry and 3–5 years in composites is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS in Chemistry or related science.
• 3-5 years’ experience with composites and formulation preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in end use formulation and evaluation.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of experimental design and statistical data analysis techniques preferred.
• Open minded, creative, innovative and optimistic.
• Unafraid of technical risk of failure.
• Critical and analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of OSHA chemical hygiene and lab safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform formulation and prototype preparation via synthesis or blending.
• Prepare test articles using end customer processes.
• Conduct chemical analyses, mechanical testing, and quality control assessments.
• Write technical reports and present results to supervisor or mentor.
• Plan experiments, set schedules, and meet deadlines.
