Job summary

INX International Ink Co. is seeking an experienced R&D Chemist to advance inkjet formulations and support manufacturing across color and sustainability initiatives. You will collaborate on new inkjet technologies, evaluate materials, and publish technical reports for sales and customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, data-driven optimization, and cross-functional teamwork on an autonomous, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• 5+ years of inkjet ink formulation experience.
• Knowledge of inkjet printing processes.
• Demonstrate strong Math and Science skills.
• Proficient with record-keeping.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting issues with existing technologies as well as customer challenges.
• Developing new inkjet technologies based on customer needs.
• Evaluating raw materials and optimizing formulations for cost-savings opportunities.

Job Description

This role offers a starting range of $77,000 to $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

As an R&D Chemist you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting issues with existing technologies as well as customer challenges
• Developing new inkjet technologies based on customer needs
• Evaluatingraw materials and optimize formulations for cost-savings opportunities
• Providingtechnical support to manufacturing
• Publishing project reports & other documents direct to sales & customers
• Maintaining laboratory equipment

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or equivalent
• Have 5+ years of inkjet ink formulation experience
• Knowledge of inkjet printing processes
• Demonstrate strong Math and Science skills
• Be Proficient with record-keeping
• Have good and effective written, reading comprehension and verbalskills
• Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

• SAP experience
• Knowledge & experience with UV curing processes andformulations
