alliantgroup is seeking an Associate to join our R&D team in Houston, focusing on identifying and substantiating cash-generating tax incentives. You will work with attorneys, accountants, engineers, and scientists to help clients reinvest in their business and people.

The role involves interviewing clients, researching topics, producing technical reports, and collaborating with CPAs and executives to optimize credits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• 1–2 years of experience with project management, public speaking, and client management preferred.
• Backgrounds in engineering, business, management, finance, economics, or life sciences preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to articulate and relay information effectively.
• High sense of urgency with ability to meet deadlines.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% in the United States.
• Residency or relation to Houston, TX.

As an Associate, you will be working within our Research and Development (R&D) team alongside some of the best in the business including attorneys, accountants, engineers, and scientists to identify and substantiate cash generating tax incentives that strengthen American businesses. Your work will have a meaningful impact on clients, allowing them to reinvest back into their business and their people.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and qualify value-oriented benefits for companies

• Provide insight in order to benefit from additional credits and incentives that may be applicable

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years of experience with project management, public speaking, and client management
