Senior Account Executive

M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment is a full-service agency operating across Consumer PR, Creator & Influencer, Partnership Marketing, Social, Experiential, Sport, and Entertainment. The Senior Account Executive works to support and drive client accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.

Core Responsibilities

Media Management

• Maintain a strong knowledge of the media landscape and client needs.
• Develop an extensive network and cultivate relationships with key media.
• Manage ongoing editorial coverage, oversee opportunities from sell‑in to delivery.
• Apply expertise in editorial calendar opportunities and lead‑pitch deadlines.
• Monitor all client coverage, ensuring timely flagging and reporting to the team.
• Oversee the development of media strategies and materials (press releases, media alerts, pitches, media lists, coverage recaps).

Client Services

• Build trusted relationships with clients and deliver timely, thoughtful communication.
• Anticipate client needs and work with the team to address them promptly.
• Proactively flag potential issues or opportunities to senior team members and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written presentation skills, effectively pitching ideas.
• Show genuine interest in clients’ businesses and their industry.

Campaign Execution

• Support Account Supervisors, Account Directors and VPs in day‑to‑day tasks.
• Lead the production of essential campaign materials.
• Oversee status reports and recaps to ensure timely completion.
• Develop project‑management skills overseeing campaigns alongside senior leads.

Creativity and Industry Insight

• Participate and lead brainstorming sessions, demonstrating proactivity.
• Immerse in competitor landscape and creative industry trends.
• Keep the team and clients updated on creative activities and industry news.

New Business & Administrative Work

• Participate in new‑business research and ad‑hoc pitches.
• Manage essential administrative tasks to a high standard.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day team administration and document organization.
