• Collect data by interfacing with customers and sales reps to help select tool types.

• Communicate with customers regarding quotations, applications and design engineering.
• Assist inside sales with order processing, phone calls, and mail during heavy workload.
• Request material quotes when needed.
• Schedule production material usage to ensure optimal production levels.
• Evaluate supplies for quality and timeliness.
• Monitor material supply flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks.
• Produce reports based on findings and production performance.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, industry standards, environmental, health and safety requirements, and ISO certifications.

Job Summary:

The Quoting Specialist prepares accurate quotes for pricing, builds estimates for special items by gathering information and analyzing material and job costing, and is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Establish tool Design and Quote standard, modified standard, and custom tools.
• Collect data by interfacing with customers and sales reps to help make a selection of tool types.
• Gather manufacturing and engineering data to effectively evaluate production feasibility of the customer request and provide accurate quotations to the customer.
• Communicate with customers with regards to quotations, applications and design engineering.
• Assist inside sales with order processing, phone calls, and mail during times of excessive load.
• Request material quotes for materials when needed.
• Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels.
• Evaluate supplies for quality and timeliness.
• Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage.
• Produce reports based on findings and performance of production.
• Compliance with local laws, industry standards, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, and relevant ISO certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Basic Computer and software skills
• Manufacturing experience
• Engineering experience
• Strong communications skills
• 3+ years of quoting experience is preferred.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Related Role, preferably Aerospace related.
• AutoCAD and Excel

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
