Job summary

Biomerics is seeking a seasoned quoting and customer service specialist in Santa Clara, CA. You will work with the sales team to create quotes, estimate manufacturing rates, manage NPI projects, and provide timely support to customers while following company procedures.

This role emphasizes strong organizational skills, ERP and CRM familiarity (ERP, Salesforce), and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a quoting environment related to manufacturing, preferably metal machining.
• Experience maintaining BOMs/routers in an ERP system for a manufacturing company.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Quote, Sales Order Entry & Customer Service: Work with the sales team and project managers to create quotes for new business.
• Research current or new technology to estimate manufacturing rates, material consumption and overhead rates.
• Provide support for customer inquiries with timely and professional responses.
• Project manage NPI (New Product Introduction) to ensure projects are performed accurately and timely.
• Follow company procedures and file quotes as required.
• Attend company and customer update meetings as they pertain to new projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a well-organized physical and digital filing system to ensure documentation is accessible, compliant, and up to date.
• Create, update, and archive files according to company standards and retention requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of in a quoting environment related to manufacturing, preferably metal machining
• 10+ years experience in maintaining BOM’s/routers in an ERP system for a manufacturing company
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
