Job summary

Luminii, a specification-grade LED lighting manufacturer in Chicago, seeks an Inside Sales Quotations Specialist. You will quote, design layouts with customers, and guide orders from quote to installation, using Salesforce and NetSuite. Hybrid role after training with some home-based days.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in inside sales within lighting or similar tech sectors, plus strong communication and organizational skills and proficiency in Bluebeam for takeoffs.

Qualifications

• Experience in lighting industry or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing, availability and lead time information for incoming quote requests.
• Provide technical information or suggest alternate product solutions where necessary.
• Ensure accuracy of quotations and submittals with high attention to detail.
• Collaborate with production to establish order priorities and scheduling of new work.
• Coordinate with sales/marketing on new products and training needs.
• Communicate with outside sales on quotation requests and bid strategies.
• Utilize ERP and CRM platforms to manage orders.
• Monitor field issues and support the team as needed.

Lighting Quotations Specialist/Inside Sales

Niles, IL – 60 to 75K maybe more for someone from lighting with bluebeam experience

***Hybrid Position – After training – 2 days from home/3 days in office

LED Lighting industry or electronics/technical products/or architectural industry or like preferred!

Seeking an energetic individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, preferring experience in the lighting industry and ability to work in a team environment.

*Working directly with larger customers, The Inside Sales Rep/Quotations Specialist works directly with customers and vendors with their designs/layouts and recommends the best product, provides accurate quotes, enters orders and info in Salesforce and NetSuite and troubleshoots the order to installation troubleshooting any issues.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide pricing, availability and lead time information for incoming quote requests.
• Provide technical information or suggest alternate product solutions where necessary.
• Ensure accuracy of quotations and submittals with a high level of attention to detail
• Work within the production structure to establish order priorities, changes, updates and scheduling of new work. Arrange for company deliveries and others, as necessary.
• Work with sales and marketing on new agents, training, new products, technical needs.
• Communicate with outside sales and sales management on quotation requests, change requests and bid strategies.
• Utilizing ERP and CRM platforms.
• Monitor and work with the team on any field issues and/or requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Lighting Industry or like
• Bluebeam software is preferred to do take offs on drawings
• A strong desire to contribute to the team effort
• Strong written and communication skills
• Friendly disposition
• Outstanding work ethic
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
• Experience with ERM and CRM systems
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Strong decision making and analytical ability
• 2 years Inside Sales experience in the lighting industry or like, preferred
• College degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
