Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Quotations & Project Manager to prepare project quotations and manage awarded jobs from order placement through completion. You will work closely with customers, vendors, outside sales, and warehouse teams to deliver accurate pricing and clear communication.

The role focuses on delivering on-time quotes, proactive project updates, and thorough project follow-through from initial request to final delivery and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical distribution, inside sales, quotations, or project coordination.
• Familiarity with electrical products, particularly lighting and distribution equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and material schedules.
• Comfortable using Excel, email, and order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quotes delivered on time and ensure well-organized projects.
• Maintain an active project log covering orders, submittals, approvals, material releases, delivery schedules, and outstanding items.
• Coordinate purchasing and monitor vendor acknowledgments, lead times, backorders, and shipment status.
• Communicate project updates and potential delays proactively to customers and the sales team.
• Track changes, resolve shortages or discrepancies, and follow through on returns, credits, and final billing.
• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and order entry.
• Support outside sales with quotations, product research, and customer follow-up.
• Help resolve order issues and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Provide backup phone and counter support as needed while maintaining project deadlines.
