Job summary

IFB Solutions is seeking a Quilting Machine Operator to work under the Sr. Sewing Supervisor in Asheville, NC. You will set up batting, fabric and thread, monitor ongoing quilting and address defects while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This role requires teamwork, detailed attention, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. On-the-job training is provided and some overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up batting, fabric and thread in the quilting machine.
• Monitor the quilting process and stop the machine to correct flaws.
• Follow vendor recommendations for operation and maintenance.
• Notify supervisor of problems or concerns regarding product or procedures.
• Assist unloading China truck as needed.
