The Requirements

• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate manual transmissions
• Previous experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

The Responsibilities

• Perform multipoint inspections and communicate needs to service advisors
• Service grease fittings, universal joints, steering knuckles using grease guns
• Inspect fluid levels in steering, transmission, and differential systems
• Check tire pressure, add radiator water, replace filters
• Lubricate moving parts
• Drain and refill engine oil
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs
