Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferred.
• Capacity to work in a seated position for long periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform multipoint inspections and communicate needs to service advisors.
• Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles.
• Inspect fluid levels in various vehicle systems.
• Check tire pressure, add water to radiators, and replace filters.
• Lubricate moving parts.
• Drain and refill engine oil.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs.

Skills

Ability to read and understand written instructions

Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance

Valid driver’s license and ability to operate manual transmissions

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate manual transmissions
• Experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice (preferred)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Capacity to work in a seated position for long periods
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
