Reliable Cars & RV in Springfield, MO seeks a Quick Lube Technician to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. The role focuses on oil changes, system checks, and maintaining vehicle fluids, with an emphasis on safety and quality service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, automotive aptitude, and a willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen. Competitive wage plans and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE Certification/Technical degree preferred.
• One year in a service department.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to verify they are secure and functioning.
• Isolate systems or components that may have caused the problem.
• Drive vehicle for testing and inspect/refill fluid levels as needed.
• Check tire pressure for proper inflation and lubricate fittings.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools and hand tools to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
• One year in a service department
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen

Schedule: Monday - Friday with possible Saturdays

Pay: $16.50 - $17 (dependent on skills and experience)
