Job summary

Serra Automotive Group in Michigan is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a lube technician in a dealership or quick oil change environment, with opportunities for company-paid training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Effective analytical and communication skills with a desire for growth and improvement.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to learn to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Test primary electrical systems using state of the art test equipment.
• Visually inspect normal wear items and document condition.
• Tire rotation, pressure setting and measuring tread depth.
• Install a new oil drain plug, filter and oil.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist line Technicians on an as needed basis.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
