Job Summary

The responsibilities of a Quick Lube Technician mainly focus on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Additional duties include changing vehicle oil, checking transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspecting belts and filters, and monitoring air levels and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure security and proper functioning
• Identify potential causes of issues within systems or components
• Drive vehicles for testing purposes
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Replace or repair worn parts proactively to prevent breakdowns
• Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a service department
• Ability to quickly identify problems and adapt accordingly
• Strong analytical, communication, reading, computer, and math skills
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• Technical degree or ASE certifications preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Positive and friendly attitude
