Kenny Kent Chevrolet - Seeking Quick Lube Tech

We are looking for a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will perform routine oil changes and lubrication services as assigned.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Saturday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (every other weekend).

Responsibilities

• Perform work including oil changes, filter changes, and lubrication as outlined on service tickets with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Inspect and report any needed maintenance or replacements, including air filters.
• Check fluid levels and fill if necessary.
• Perform Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections.
• Apply follow-up stickers to windshields.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Document work performed and conduct quality checks.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with factory technical bulletins.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and follow environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.
• Work effectively with co-workers and management, demonstrating teamwork.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and diagnostic skills.
• Effective analytical and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE Certification or Technical degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a service department.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
