Job summary

Sunset Ford of Waterloo is hiring Quick Lube Technicians for both Part-Time and Full-Time roles. Shifts run roughly 7:30am–5:00pm with guaranteed 40-hour weeks and opportunities to grow.

The team emphasizes a strong work-life balance and provides paid health benefits and training. Responsibilities include oil changes, tire rotations, multipoint inspections, and other preventive maintenance tasks per Ford instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Some experience is expected
• We will provide additional training
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
• Customer service skills
• Great teammate and positive attitude
• Possess a clean and valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive a manual transmission

Responsibilities

• Perform Oil Changes, Tire Rotations, and Multipoint Inspections per Ford Motor Company instructions
• Test systems and components, top off fluids, inspect fluid conditions
• Identify components that need to be replaced or maintained
• Perform BG Services, Fluid Exchanges, Alignments, and Safety Recalls
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Mount and Balance Tires
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in repairing vehicles
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
