Job summary

Fowler Kia Longmont is seeking a dependable Quick Lane Technician to join our Service Department. You will perform oil changes, lubrication work, and basic maintenance while assisting with inspections and service recommendations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Compensation is competitive and includes benefits; training is available through dealership programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work and basic maintenance.
• Assist with inspections and recommend services to Service Advisor.
• Maintain dealership-owned tools and a clean, organized workspace.
• Work with another technician to learn and perform quality vehicle service.

Quick Lane Technician - Fowler Kia LongmontFowler Automotive is looking for a hard-working, dedicated Quick Lane Technician for our growing Service Department.Job Responsibilities:Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directedPerforms Multi-Inspection check and recommends services needed to Service AdvisorInspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessaryChecks tire pressure and adds or removes air if neededKeeps shop area neat and cleanMaintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were receivedWorks alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairsRequirementsValid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance CarrierEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
