Job description

Job Summary:

Perform vehicle maintenance as assigned per dealer and factory standards. Responsible for diagnosing and providing quality vehicle repairs while maximizing personal productivity. Perform inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safely, and according to Ford’s quality and time standards—Compliance with Ford and dealership safety and environmental programs and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic care and routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner changes, front-end alignments, battery installations, etc.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
  • Complete service and repair assignments correctly to pass quality inspections or test drives.
  • Perform any and all repairs and services as indicated on the vehicle inspection report or repair estimate order.
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts.
  • Maintain all personal and company-provided tools and equipment in proper operating condition.
  • Maintain technical skills.
  • Comply with OSHA, federal, state, and local laws regarding safety, hazardous materials, and environmental materials.
  • Communicate with parts associates and service advisors to manage production and customer communication effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • You understand that earned vacation time is based on the total time of continual employment.
