Job description

At Stivers Ford Lincoln, we are looking for a motivated, responsible individual to join our team in the Quicklane, starting your career path toward becoming a full automotive technician. Our dealership offers a fast-paced, organized environment designed to provide the best technician experience. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn extensively about the automotive industry.

Our Quicklane Technicians work hands-on daily at our dealership alongside industry professionals. You will gain familiarity with all makes and models and eventually focus on the Ford vehicle lineup.

In addition to mechanical work, technicians utilize computers and interfaces to diagnose and repair most repairs and maintenance tasks.

What You'll Do

1. Perform routine maintenance, including oil and filter changes, inspecting and replacing bulbs, belts, hoses, and assessing and adjusting brakes.
2. Provide battery service, brake work, and wheel alignments.
3. Communicate any safety concerns regarding customer vehicles to your team advisor.
4. Ensure quality control through safe practices on all vehicles.
5. Begin hands-on training and pursue Ford curriculum certification.
6. Perform tire changes and fluid exchanges.

Additional Details

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour; Experienced Technicians: $300 quarterly bonus
