Golden Analytics, an AI-native BI platform, is seeking a Query Engineer to build connections to files, databases, cloud services, and data lakes. You will own data integration, design scalable query systems, and engage with customers to translate their data needs into practical solutions.
You’ll work with AI-enabled tooling, shipping features rapidly, balancing speed and quality, and helping customers unlock insights from their data.
Golden Analytics is an AI-native BI platform built for data teams who are tired of the tradeoffs in today's tools -- the depth of self-service analytics tools without the rigidity, the accessibility of a modern design tool, and AI that actually augments how analysts work rather than getting in the way.
As a Query Engineer at Golden Analytics, you’ll build and own our connections to the world - files, databases, cloud services, data lakes - we will go to where our customers data resides. You’ll help us build connectors and query systems that balance expressiveness and speed, pushing to help our customers get more from their data. This isn't a role where you hand off specs and wait for feedback. You’ll talk to customers about their data issues, propose and build solutions, and get them out to customers quickly.
You don't just use AI tools, you geek out over them. You’re all over coding agents and modern dev environments. You strive to learn, and encode that learning in ways today’s development systems can use. You have shipped AI-enabled solutions and have guided coding agents to help you move faster. You know the limits of this tech, but push it to help you do more.
There's no barrier between you and our users. You have strong product sense and think like a founder. You understand that the best code is the code that delivers the most customer value, but that you can reliably maintain. You're comfortable jumping on customer calls, gathering feedback, and translating that directly into what you build.
You move fast. You learn fast. You ship fast. You understand that velocity is a feature. You're comfortable with iteration, learning from failures, and pivoting quickly. Perfect is the enemy of shipped. You write scalable code that you can stand behind, but you know when to optimize for delivery speed versus perfection.
You love what you do. There's fire in your belly for building something meaningful. You want to stand with pride next to what you build every day. You want to be on a mission and be part of something that transforms how people work with data.
