Position Title: Quarterly Lecturer - Engineering Management (2026-2027)

Position Type: Temporary

Salary Range: $10948.00 per CE

Purpose

The School of Engineering seeks a dynamic quarterly lecturer (QL) for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach graduate level EMGT courses. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a solid commitment to innovative teaching methods, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to the diversity, equity, and inclusion goals of the University. Demonstrate dedication to the well‑being and advancement of students, colleagues, the School, and the discipline of engineering management. They will be expected to be able to teach in our graduate program.

Basic Qualifications

Earned graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in engineering management or equivalent. At a minimum, candidates should hold a Master's degree with equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated excellence in teaching engineering management concepts at the graduate level.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and conduct all assigned class meetings
  • Assign and evaluate/grade student work appropriately
  • Be available to students for consultation outside of class
  • Assign student grades appropriately and submit them on time to the Office of Student Records
  • Conduct course assessments as required by the department
  • Complete and submit time cards every two weeks
  • Comply with university and school policies, including those delineated in the School of Engineering Term Faculty Handbook
