Job summary

Polycor Pennsylvania is seeking hard-working team players for General Quarry Worker roles at Elverson, PA. This year-round, outdoor job involves extracting granite from the quarry and requires operating saws, following procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Typical schedule Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. A starting wage of $23.00 per hour plus benefits including health, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing to work overtime if required.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Comfortable with heights.
• Able to lift and move over 50 pounds.

• Operate saws to cut large blocks of granite from the open pit quarry.
• Follow policies and procedures to assure quality work.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Work safely, according to guidelines and training, to prevent possible injuries to self and others.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirement:

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform work outdoors regardless of weather and the elements.
• Must be willing to work overtime, if required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Being comfortable with heights.
• Lift and/or move over 50 pounds.

Training:

We offer training that will advance your knowledge, skills, and abilities within the industry. No experience necessary.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, balance, and stoop, kneel and crouch.
