Scotty's Contracting and Stone, LLC is seeking a Quarry Water Truck Driver/Operator/Laborer for a full-time position. The role emphasizes safety excellence and offers pathways to a long-term career with competitive benefits.

The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while adhering to MSHA regulations. OT, weekend shifts, and outdoor work are expected in a quarry environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize and uphold strict safety standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year experience operating wheel loaders
• Experience with graders, excavators, and haul trucks.
• Familiarity with quarry equipment including crushers, conveyors, screens, and scales.
• Previous experience working in a quarry environment.
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Climbing: Must be physically capable of safely climbing in and out of equipment that is greater than 10 feet off the ground on uneven terrain multiple times daily.
• Heights: Ability to climb and work safely at heights exceeding 10 feet.
• Balance: Must maintain stability while standing and walking on potentially slick or uneven surfaces, sometimes while carrying equipment or materials.
• Vision: 20/40 corrected vision to see moving safety hazards, moving equipment, vehicles, and obstructions.
• Hearing: Corrected to hear verbal safety warnings and instructions.
• Awkward positions: Ability to transition between sitting, standing, and kneeling on the ground as required.
• Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and maneuver awkward parts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Conditions: Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Must be adaptable to changing environmental factors and the demands of an active quarry operation.
• Safe Vehicle Entry and Exit- Employees must be able to enter and exit commercial motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment while maintaining three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand).
