Scotty's Contracting and Stone, LLC is seeking a Quarry Water Truck Driver/Operator/Laborer for a full‑time role in a safety‑driven quarry environment. This position emphasizes operating heavy equipment, performing inspections, and adhering to MSHA rules.

The role requires flexibility for overtime, weekends, and outdoor/underground work, along with the ability to pass a drug screen.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year experience operating wheel loaders
• Experience with graders, excavators, and haul trucks.
• Familiarity with quarry equipment including crushers, conveyors, screens, and scales.
• Previous experience working in a quarry environment.
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Climbing: Must be physically capable of safely climbing in and out of equipment that is greater than 10 feet off the ground on uneven terrain multiple times daily.
• Heights: Ability to climb and work safely at heights exceeding 10 feet.
• Balance: Must maintain stability while standing and walking on potentially slick or uneven surfaces, sometimes while carrying equipment or materials.
• Vision: 20/40 corrected vision to see moving safety hazards, moving equipment, vehicles, and obstructions.
• Hearing: Corrected to hear verbal safety warnings and instructions.
• Awkward positions: Ability to transition between sitting, standing, and kneeling on the ground as required.
• Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and maneuver awkward parts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Conditions: Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Must be adaptable to changing environmental factors and the demands of an active quarry operation.
• Safe Vehicle Entry and Exit- Employees must be able to enter and exit commercial motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment while maintainingthree points of contact(two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand).
