Job summary

Mountain Materials, Inc. (A CRH Company) in Kentucky seeks a Foreman to oversee daily mine production and plant operations. You will manage mine personnel, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safety procedures across the site, reporting to the Mine Manager.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a proven track record in construction/mining environments; travel and night/weekend work may be required. The company emphasizes safety and efficiency at a regional operation.

Qualifications

• Leadership/Management experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organization levels, including senior management.
• Experience within the construction industry strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and professional personal presentation.
• Organizing, planning, and time management skills.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers.
• Follow all company policies and all OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Oversees drill & blasting and other UG operations, plus maintenance scheduling.
• Ensure daily production goals are met and communicated.
• Report problems to the Mine Manager and Operations Manager.
• Train employees on safe operations and minor repairs of equipment.
• Perform general laboring/operator duties when necessary.
• Regular attendance as described by mine manager.
