Rogers Group, Inc. in Cross Plains, TN, seeks a Plant Operator for the Cross Plains Quarry. You will operate plant equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and MSHA compliance to keep production flowing smoothly.

The full-time position is on the day shift, with some weekend work and wages starting at $23 per hour. This role offers opportunities for advancement within a large, established contractor with a long history in aggregates and asphalt production.

Qualifications

• Experience in aggregate/construction industries preferred.
• Basic knowledge of concrete, cement, or construction materials.
• Must be able to work overtime and in all weather conditions.
• Must have some knowledge of industrial tools and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and uphold MSHA standards.
• Operate plant equipment to move materials via conveyors, chutes, pumps, and bins.
• Inspect equipment, structures, and materials; document repairs.
• Monitor systems to ensure continuous flow and remove clogs.
• Assist with daily production planning and reporting.
• Assist with greasing, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
