Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. is hiring a Quarry Plant Operator to support crushing, washing, and plant maintenance in our Mississippi operation. You will perform a variety of labor tasks, follow foreman's directions, and work with minimal supervision on routine duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year related experience, ability to read simple instructions, and willingness to work day, night, or swing shifts, including overtime and travel when needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding environment for safe operation.
• Shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, mechanical assistance; lifting, pushing and pulling.
• Communicating production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Able to work overtime and travel as required.
• Report to work at designated start time.
