The Shelly Company, located in Carey, Ohio, is seeking an individual to assist the Foreperson with daily production duties, operating various pieces of heavy equipment.
This role requires teamwork and strict adherence to safety standards. Candidates are expected to have a high school diploma or GED and must join Local 18 IUOE within 60 days of employment.

To assist the Foreperson with daily production duties by operating various pieces of heavy equipment and performing other miscellaneous plant related functions. Employee must join Local 18 IUOE within 60 days of employment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to do routine paperwork.
Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud and may require protective equipment.
