Scotty's Contracting and Stone is accepting applications for a Quarry Loader Driver. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety and seek a long-term career opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

1. Prioritizing safety at all times
2. Loading trucks accurately and efficiently
3. Operating loaders and haul trucks safely
4. Building and maintaining stockpiles
5. Performing equipment inspections and maintenance
6. Adhering to MSHA regulations and company policies
7. Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
8. Working independently or as part of a team
9. Performing additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications include:

1. Commitment to safety
2. Experience with quarry equipment
3. Mechanical aptitude
4. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime
5. Passing drug screening and complying with a substance-free policy
6. Previous quarry or heavy equipment experience preferred

Physical requirements:

1. Climbing in and out of heavy equipment
2. Working on uneven, wet, or slick surfaces
3. Working outdoors in all weather conditions
4. Visual and hearing acuity
5. Lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, 100 lbs. with help
6. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and maneuver in various positions
