Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Quarry Operator for our Martinsburg, WV plant. You will inspect, operate, and maintain quarry equipment and report issues to the Quarry Supervisor, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience, with hands-on equipment operation experience including loaders, dozers, backhoes, and excavators. Competitive wages and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating equipment such as loaders, haul trucks, dozers, backhoes or excavators.

Responsibilities

• Inspect operating equipment, complete inspection sheets, and report issues to the Quarry Supervisor.
• Maintain regular communication with the Quarry Supervisor to identify, anticipate, and mitigate potential quarry issues.
• Operate mobile equipment safely in accordance with site procedures.
• Document material addition counts.
