Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a motivated Quarry Mining Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting quarry operations, mine planning, process improvement initiatives, and operational excellence projects within a dynamic aggregates environment.

You will assist in planning, data collection, and reporting, while collaborating with engineers and operations staff to identify safety and efficiency improvements. Housing may be provided for interns.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret data and apply technical concepts to operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of quarry mining operations.
