Position Overview

This is a skilled position involving maintenance and operation of company conveyor and crushing equipment, with quarry experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Thorough mechanical knowledge of crusher and related equipment.
2. Analyzes malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds conveyors and crushing equipment.
3. Examines parts for damage or excessive wear.
4. Welds broken parts and structural members as necessary using stick welding processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math operations in all units of measure.
• Must possess valid welding certifications.

Physical Demands

Employees frequently sit, climb, and use hands; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, reach, and lift/move 10-30 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
