Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking a safety-minded laborer to work outdoors, performing construction tasks and assisting with site preparation at various locations. The role requires physical endurance, the ability to follow directions, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Overtime may be required as projects demand. The position includes comprehensive benefits through a majority employee-owned company, with training and development opportunities to grow in the drilling and blasting

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with a good driving record; out-of-town travel required.
• Must successfully pass ATF screenings.
• Construction labor and heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills for higher tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and policies.
• Demonstrate physical agility and endurance.
• Submit accurate weekly time cards to Foreman.
• Learn safety aspects of working with explosives and construction sites.
• Take direction and perform labor tasks as instructed.
• Work unsupervised when needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
