Job summary

Peckham Industries, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate loaders, excavators, rock trucks, and hydraulic hammers at our quarry and plant sites in New Hampshire.

You will help move and stockpile materials, meet daily production goals, and support maintenance and safety programs with plant personnel. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in quarry/mining or similar.
• Experience operating loaders, excavators, rock trucks, and hydraulic hammers.
• Ability to inspect equipment and communicate maintenance needs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loaders, excavators, rock trucks, and hydraulic hammers to move and stockpile aggregate.
• Meet daily production and quality objectives by following production plans.
• Follow MSHA regulations and safety policies; identify hazards.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance.
• Maintain equipment and document inspections and safety activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and plant personnel to ensure smooth operations.
