Job summary

Peckham Industries Inc. (PII) seeks an Equipment Operator to safely operate and maintain heavy equipment across quarry and plant sites. The role supports aggregate production, ensures efficient material flow, and contributes to production goals.

The position requires experience with loaders, excavators, rock trucks, and hydraulic hammers, plus the ability to perform inspections and assist with maintenance. Travel to local plants is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience safely operating heavy equipment in quarry/mining/construction environments preferred.
• Experience operating loaders, excavators, rock trucks, and hydraulic hammers or similar equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local plants in the region.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loaders, excavators, rock trucks, hydraulic hammers and related equipment to extract, move, process, and stockpile materials.
• Meet daily production and quality objectives by feeding operations and maintaining stockpiles and site conditions.
• Follow safety policies, site traffic plans, MSHA regulations, and report hazards.
