The company is seeking a Laborer/Maintenance Person for our quarry operation located in Madisonville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance work and maintain the belt lines
• Operating production equipment as needed – such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer
• General plant/mine labor and clean‑up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assisting with plant clean up and operations
• Being trained in various other entry‑level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times
• Report equipment problems and identify them to management
• Experience or background in millwright type work – metal fabrication, cutting, and machinery repair – is preferred.
• Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Ability to maintain safe working conditions
• Self‑motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
• Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean‑up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned
• Ability to learn quickly
• Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen
