Job summary

APAC Central is seeking a Quarry Foreperson to lead daily operations at a busy quarry site in Arkansas. You will coordinate with the Quarry Superintendent to ensure safety, quality, and productivity, while guiding a diverse team through maintenance, repairs, and production planning.

The role requires a hands-on leader with at least two years of relevant experience, willingness to travel, and a strong commitment to OSHA/MSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, with at least two years of relevant experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safe work environment per company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Oversee daily production and maintenance activities; schedule major repairs.
• Identify and report issues to the Superintendent or Safety/HR Managers.
• Lead, manage, and schedule personnel; monitor attendance and hours.
• Train employees in plant and mobile equipment operations and minor repairs.
• Step in for general laboring duties as needed; maintain hands-on leadership.
• Maintain consistent attendance and reliability; adapt to new tasks.
