Luck Stone Corporation in Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg area seeks a Foreman Trainee to learn leadership in a world-class quarry operation. You will supervise production teams, uphold quality standards, oversee blasting programs, and represent Luck Stone in the community.

This entry-level leadership role offers growth on the plant floor with potential transfers to Spotsylvania, Bealeton, Culpeper, Greene or Charlottesville while starting with comprehensive Day 1 benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field preferred.
• Relevant work experience or Summer Internship in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safe operation of heavy equipment; ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Willingness to learn with a safety-first mindset and drive to grow into a leadership role.
• Flexibility to relocate across Northern VA South Region locations.

Responsibilities

• Learn to supervise and lead production team members to safely accomplish daily plant goals
• Develop the skills to oversee plant operations from extraction and crushing to conveying and inventory
• Learn to ensure quality control standards are met and Luck Stone quality programs are followed
• Maintain a proactive approach to safe operations and regulatory compliance at all times
• Learn to oversee the pit blasting program, including design and loading of shots
• Represent Luck Stone with neighbors, customers, and inspectors in a professional manner
• Uphold Luck Stone plant appearance standards and help keep the site clean and organized
