NEBCO Realty Group is seeking an Equipment Operator in Beatrice, Nebraska. The successful candidate will operate a range of heavy equipment and perform maintenance to support production and sales functions.
Qualified individuals must have previous heavy equipment experience, mechanical skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. This position involves working in various conditions, including exposure to noise and chemicals.
The employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
Would regularly climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; able to talk, hear, and smell.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist high and be able to use up to 35 pounds of force occasionally.
Direct frontal reaching is required while the employee may be required to lift 25 pounds over the head occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Employees are required to wear protective safety gear, eye & ear protection.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, confined spaces and possible extreme heat.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
The employee will also climb stairs or ladders to access the plant or equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employees are required to wear protective ear protection.
There are some chemical exposures that are part of performing the job. SDS sheets are available in the department.
Plant and field environment with exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases and chemicals.
This is a non‑smoking/vaping campus.
