Job summary

Central Texas Stone and Aggregate is seeking a Field Service Technician for quarry equipment. You will diagnose, repair and maintain heavy equipment at customer sites, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems. Travel is required to service crushers, conveyors, loaders, and related gear.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and customer communication while supporting commissioning and operator training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience repairing heavy equipment, mining or quarry equipment.
• MSHA certification preferred or ability to obtain; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy quarry equipment (crushers, conveyors, screens, loaders, excavators, haul trucks).
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on customer equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel engine, and electrical systems.
• Read manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Travel to customer sites and communicate equipment status and repair recommendations.
