University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) invites applications for a tenure-track/tenure-eligible faculty position in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to begin Fall 2027. We seek candidates in quantum computing, wireless, robotics, and VLSI/analog systems with strong potential for external funding.

The Division of Energy, Matter and Systems offers state‑of‑the‑art labs and multidisciplinary collaborations. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or closely related discipline as of start date.
• Post‑doctoral experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in ECE and related areas.
• Develop and sustain an extramurally funded research program.
• Mentor undergraduate/graduate students and post‑doctoral fellows.
• Engage in division, school, or university service as appropriate.
