Job summary

Oratomic is hiring systems engineers to design, build, and operate fault-tolerant neutral-atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team spanning hardware, software, and processor design to advance our first-of-its-kind quantum system.

You will tackle integration of complex hardware and software, define interfaces, develop specifications, and coordinate system‑level design, assembly, testing, and operation with scientists and engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background across hardware and software integration.
• Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines is desirable.
• Collaborative team environment with scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Integrate complex hardware and software systems and define interfaces between subsystems.
• Develop system specifications and coordinate system‑level design, assembly, testing and operation.
• Work hands-on in the lab in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
