Job summary

Oratomic is hiring optical engineers to design, build, and operate fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team, spanning hardware (lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics), software, processor design, and more to realize a working quantum computer.

This role focuses on the design and implementation of complex optical systems within the quantum hardware team. A strong background in optical engineering, laser engineering, or comparable skillsets is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex optical systems key to building fault-tolerant quantum computers.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and quantum engineering teams to integrate optical components.
• Participate in building, testing, and operating the quantum hardware platform.
