Job summary

Oratomic is hiring embedded hardware and software engineers to design, build, and operate fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work across hardware, software, processor design, and data acquisition in a tight-knit team.

A strong background in embedded systems, FPGA development, and low-level software is desirable. Roles focus on low-level control interfaces, FPGA firmware, and integration with high-speed data acquisition systems within the quantum hardware team.

Qualifications

• Strong background in embedded systems, computer engineering, electrical engineering, FPGA development, or low-level software.
• Wants to build a quantum computer.
• Works well in a highly collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Focus on low-level hardware and software to control and interface with the quantum computer, from FPGAs and firmware to high-speed data acquisition and scientific cameras.
• Operate within the quantum hardware team to integrate hardware and software for fault-tolerant operation.
