Ideal candidates have strong software development experience, a background in research software, and a collaborative, multidisciplinary mindset.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS, Engineering, Physics; PhD is a plus.
• Experience leading a small engineering team.
• 5+ years of post-degree software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ~5 software engineers and quantum software engineers.
• Support development of research-oriented software and workflows.
• Develop production-grade software for running fault-tolerant quantum computing.
• Collaborate with the quantum error correction team to deliver useful tools.
