Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Washington, DC is seeking a passionate quantum computing expert to lead developer relations across the federal research community. You will define strategic collaborations, drive adoption of NVIDIA's quantum SDKs, and bridge mission scientists with NVIDIA's product and engineering teams.

You will run workshops at national labs, present at conferences, build reference implementations, and cultivate a network of collaborators.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, chemistry, or a related field (PhD preferred).
14+ years of experience in quantum information science, with 5+ years in quantum computing industry or national lab setting.
Strong background in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum hardware and control systems.
Hands-on experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, or GPU-accelerated software development.
Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of public speaking to technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior technical and strategic interface to NVIDIA’s key QPU-builder partners.
Develop deep understanding of each partner’s architecture, roadmap, and system requirements.
Shape NVIDIA’s computing and quantum software roadmaps based on partner insights.
Lead cross-functional work to translate roadmaps into concrete plans and deliverables.
Conduct technical workshops and hands-on training at national labs and conferences.
