Job summary

QuEra Computing is seeking a Quantum Scientist in Boston, MA focused on machine learning for quantum error correction to advance decoding and QEC design on our unique hardware. This mid-level, full-time position is part of the QEC and Architecture team within research.

You will develop and implement fault-tolerant quantum protocols, work with academic and industry collaborators, publish results, and contribute to software for real-time control on our Rydberg-atom platform.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in machine learning for scientific problems.
• Experience in quantum computing and quantum error correction.
• An exceptional publication record in relevant fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong software skills.
